Why Mold Keeps Coming Back in Bali

In Bali’s tropical humidity, hidden mold grows inside walls, ceilings, furniture, and fabrics. Normal sprays may only partly kill what they touch, leaving spores and toxins in the air. True relief comes through mold removal and sterilization — a 3-D treatment that completely covers the whole room and air space, reaching where other systems can’t. Where our work ends, yours starts — keeping humidity low, air moving, and condensation down helps protect the freshness we restore.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you dive in

Mold Removal and Sterilization vs. Mold Remediation

Mold removal and sterilization focus on eliminating visible mold and neutralizing spores, along with eradicating all organic contaminants — including viruses, bacteria, and microorganisms — within the treated enclosure, ensuring a biologically clean and safe space.
Mold remediation, by contrast, also involves fixing the root causes of mold growth and addressing building-related issues such as leaks, condensation, and humidity sources.

Disinfection vs Sterilization?

Disinfection reduces surface-level microbes such as bacteria and viruses, but it does not eliminate spores or microorganisms hidden within materials.
Sterilization, on the other hand, kills mold, neutralizes spores, eradicates bacteria, viruses, and other organic contaminants in both air and on surfaces — providing complete biological control and long-term safety.

Do you fix leaks?

We don’t perform structural repairs.
Our focus is biological control — identifying and treating mold growth caused by leaks or humidity.
If a leak or construction issue is found, we’ll flag it during inspection so your maintenance team or contractor can repair it before or after sterilization.

Do you clean the house?

We are not a general cleaning company.
Our service targets mold removal and sterilization only — designed for health protection, not routine housekeeping.
Mold removal covers walls, ceilings, and furniture surfaces, ensuring the treated area is biologically clean and safe.

Do You Offer Deep Cleaning?

Deep cleaning is a thorough hygiene process that targets visible dirt, grease, and buildup using detergents and mechanical wiping.
It often includes washing, scrubbing, and removing stains from surfaces, furniture, and floors — going beyond routine housekeeping to reach neglected areas.

However, deep cleaning does not neutralize biological contaminants such as mold spores, bacteria, or viruses.
That’s why Mr. Biocid’s mold removal and sterilization service goes further — it restores indoor health by eliminating the microorganisms that deep cleaning can’t reach.

How Long Does the Process Take?

The duration varies from 30–45 minutes up to about 3 hours, depending on the property size and the complexity of the removal.
After treatment, the premises must remain closed for an additional 2 hours — no one should enter during that time.
Following inspection, we provide a precise time estimate tailored to each property.

Is It Safe?

Yes. We use hospital-grade hydrogen-peroxide (H₂O₂)–based sterilization that leaves no residue.
It is safe for people, pets, and materials, yet powerful enough to neutralize mold, spores, viruses, and bacteria.
Our process ensures full biological protection without chemical traces or re-entry risks.

Do You Guarantee the Mold

Will Never Return?

We erase history — we eliminate mold and neutralizes all spores, viruses, bacteria, and other microorganisms within the treated area.
Once sterilization is complete, keeping the property mold-free depends on maintaining proper ventilation, humidity levels, and fixing leaks.
Those environmental factors are beyond our control, but we always guide clients on how to preserve a healthy indoor environment long after treatment.

How Often Should I Repeat the Procedure to Keep My Space Healthy?

Depending on the state of the building and indoor conditions, the frequency of intervention may vary from once every one to two months.
Properties with higher humidity, poor ventilation, or recurring leaks may need more frequent sterilization.
When humidity levels rise — especially during the rainy season — monthly treatment is recommended to maintain optimal indoor health.
After inspection, we provide a personalized schedule suited to your space.
